Conditions (Diagnosis)
What happens when you need to re-bill a claim?
Do you have to confirm what the diagnosis was on the claim you need to resubmit?
And if it’s different than the current diagnosis, do you have to:
- delete the current diagnosis
- re-enter the old diagnosis
- submit the claim
- delete the old diagnosis
- re-enter the current diagnosis
What happens if you forget any of these steps?
Quixote keeps track of the diagnosis history by “Effective Date”. The "Effective Date" is the date that you would like Quixote to start using this Condition (diagnosis).
With Quixote, when the doctor gives a new or updated diagnosis, the staff just enters the effective date for the new or updated diagnosis then enters the diagnosis. That's it! When billing, or resubmitting a claim, Quixote automatically looks at the dates of service that will be submitted and selects the correct condition / diagnosis based on the “effective date”.
This assures correct billing easily and effortlessly.
- Resubmit claims with the correct diagnosis(s), effortlessly!
- Each patient can have unlimited cases simultaneously, (i.e. W/C, PI, Cash, etc.).
And each case can have unlimited conditions. Wow!
Workflow ... Workflow ... Workflow!!
