7.  Visit Counter

It's important that patients maintain their schedule.

Enter the exact number of Appointments and Length of Time. It's important that patients maintain their schedule. It does not benefit the patient to receive 12 adjustments over a period of three (3)months if the doctor's recommendation was 12 adjustments during 4 weeks. Treatment Visit Statistics are displayed to assist everyone with keeping the patient on the recommended treatment schedule.

Quixote displays the patient's progress, duration of Plan and the remaining days of Plan. This is why the exact number of Appointments and length of Time is extremley important.

8. Post EOBs

Quixote displays the expected amount due from the Payor.  If this is the amount paid, simply click "auto post expected amount" and Quixote will automatically post the payment. 

The Payment Remaining to be Posted is also displayed.

If the Payor didn't pay what was expected, Quixote gives you the option to move the unpaid amount into a (Quixote unique) disputed status.  This makes easy follow up (tracking) and the ability to issue an insurance tracer displaying the paid amount and the remaining balance.

9.  Contract Allowed Amount

Stop Making Business Decisions based on your INFLATED A/R (Accounts Receivable)

Insurance Contracts allow CPT codes to be configured with an "allowed amount".

Example:

• Office Visit is $50
• Insurance Company will pay 80% of the "allowed amount"
• If the allowed amount is $40, Quixote will calculate 80% of $40 for this Payor and this specific CPT code
